In today’s world of global warming, climate change is severely impacting the world through challenges that includes disrupted rainfall patterns affecting agricultural productivity leading to high levels of malnutrition and hunger. To that effect, Noble Gold is championing an Eco Agro-farming business model under the banner “Total Farmer Eco-Inclusive Partnership”. As an organisation, the reason why we are in business is greatly motivated by desire to positively impact the agricultural community. As part of our climate change mitigation efforts, we manufacture a sustainable organic foliar fertilizer branded as Hurudza Eco-Liquid Fertilizer, a reliable foliar fertilizer brand pivotal to community food security, self-reliance and sustainability. The cocktail solution addresses the challenge of nitrogen being fed into the ground as it is sprayed directly onto the crop leaves thereby giving a 95% quick, efficient and effective nutrients absorption into the plant through the leaf stomata resulting in increased agricultural productivity as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Purpose statement

The purpose of this business is aimed at the transformation of rural agriculture through development of a farming value chain model that establishes a positive impact on improving the livelihood of the rural farming communities for self-reliance and sustainability through use of organic foliar fertilizer thereby contributing immensely to the country food security.

At full capacity we want to reach out to over 5000 farmers through partnership synergies. Through this investment drive, Noble Gold projects that through use of this foliar fertilizer, its enhanced farmers impact will reach over 2 million people in the country, in addition to providing a stable farming income to vulnerable smallholder farmers, mostly youth, women and the elderly.

Product Description

Fertilizer being the most staple commodity for the success of agricultural productivity, this makes it very much attractive to invest in this business project. There are great opportunities in the agro-chemicals subsector. In particular, the Zimbabwe Investment Authority is currently emphasizing on the need to increase capacity in the manufacturing of fertilizers, insecticides, and pesticides in order to sufficiently supply the agricultural sector. Zimbabwe’s economic drive performance largely depends on developments in its agricultural sector as this is the best prospect industry sector of the country. There is great growth potential in participation along every agricultural driven value chain hence need for investment in the sector. The most fundamental agricultural practice that enhances crop productivity and harvest quality, is the proper crop nutrient supply management that provides the crop with adequate supply of nutrients during the critical productive crop growth stages. This therefore underpins the greater need of stable sufficient fertilizer supply in the sector which is a reflection of the potential demand for market participation of our foliar fertilizer. Therefore on that back ground, as Noble Gold, we manufacture a new kelp Game Changer technology sustainable organic foliar fertilizer called Hurudza Eco-Liquid Fertilizer.

Climate change is affecting food security through increasing temperatures, changing rain patterns, and a greater frequency of some extreme events. This business model was then developed so as to create a bigger impact in Zimbabwe to address the problem of climate change and rural communities’ poverty as it aims at introducing an innovative total farmer eco- inclusive partnership model that breaks the cycle of intergenerational poverty and hunger among rural smallholder farmers who have remained poor despite being in farming for decades.

Hurudza Uni-Fert Green Cap

The *Green cap*- vegetative foliar fertilizer contains the predominant *macro nutrients* ie- Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium which enhances optimum plant growth.
Foliar feed through leaf stomata is optimally quick, efficient and effective.
On application, spray the solution generously making leaves damp wet.
Dilution ratio is 1: 20 – (800ml per 16L knapsack/ 1L per 20L/ 5L per 100L/ 10L per 200L).

Hurudza Uni- Fert Yellow Cap

The *Yellow cap* -flowering and fruiting foliar fertilizer contains *micro nutrients* mainly Calcium and Magnesium which boosts the plant flowering and fruiting processes.
Foliar feed through leaf stomata is optimally quick, efficient and effective.
On application, spray the solution generously making leaves damp wet.
Dilution ratio is 1: 20 – (800ml per 16L knapsack/ 1L per 20L/ 5L per 100L/ 10L per 200L

Hurudza Cereal Fert

Cereal crops are strong feeder crops. For the crop to produce optimum crop weight and quality, feeding is primarily and paramount important.
The product is manufactured with nutrients composition and properties specifically made for cereal crops. Foliar feed through leaf stomata is optimally quick, efficient and effective for the absorption of nutrients in this foliar fertilizer, ie: -Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium etc.
Dilution ratio is 1: 10 – (1L per 10L/ 5L per 50L/ 10L per 100L).

Hurudza Cane Fert

Sugar cane is a heavy feeder. For it to produce the best sweet sugar, feeding it is of primary and paramount importance.
The product is manufactured with nutrients composition and properties specifically made for sugar cane. Foliar feed through leaf stomata is optimally quick, efficient and effective for the absorption of nutrients in this foliar fertilizer, ie: -Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium etc.
Dilution ratio is 1: 10 – (1L per 10L/ 5L per 50L/ 10L per 100L).

PowerCHLOR Insecticide

PowerCHLOR Insecticide- A contact Organophosphate insecticide for Soil treatment and Pest Control.

Prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter essential for insect nervous system function which then results in insect death.
Muscle contraction and paralysis: Insects experience muscle spasms, leading to paralysis and death.
This is an agricultural ecological pesticide of its own kind to be made from Zimbabwe with absorption enabler adjuvants made from organic material.

PowerTickErad Acaricide- A contact veterinary organophosphate acaricide for control of external parasites on animals.

Dip the animal long enough to ensure that the animal is properly soaked and that its head is submerged at least 3 times.
All animals should be treated, and interruption of the program should be avoided as they will then, if not vaccinated, be susceptible to various tick-borne diseases.
This is a veterinary ecological acaricide of its own kind to be made from Zimbabwe with absorption enabler adjuvants made from organic material.

Hurudza Eco-Liquid Fertilizer
The product is packed in 5L units and for a hectare you need a total of 8 units. This is sufficiently and sustainably enough to cover through all the number of application stages for a hectare up to crop maturity.

On application, spray the solution generously making leaves damp wet using either a Knapsack or Boom spray. For optimum nutrients absorption, spray very early in the morning (before 8am), at sun set (after 4pm) or on a cloudy day as long as you still have some moisture on the ground and the crop is not at wilting stage.

●You can spray the fertilizer even when there is no rain, which is a comparative advantage over the conventional granular fertilizer type. However for application when there is no rain, your crop should not be at wilting stage. It should still be firmly standing with some moisture still available on the ground. Under that scenario, we encourage the farmer to spray at sunset (after 4pm) so that as the morning dew builds up it will help the leaves to be firmer and be a catalyst for better nutrient absorption into the plant.

Milestone achievements

Through the support from the Zimbabwe Ministry of Agriculture- Fertilizer Department, Noble Gold has managed to develop from scratch its own personalised entity formula to manufacture a liquid foliar fertilizer (Hurudza Eco-Liquid Fertilizer). The product is proving to be doing very well in the Agricultural sector overtaking the conventional granular fertilizer type.

Notable achievements

In 2024, the enterprise was selected on Third prize under the UNIDO Global call in the FoodTech category and was given an opportunity to exhibit at the World Without Hunger Conference (WWH) in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.

In 2024, the enterprise was selected for Global Start-up Awards Africa 2024 as one of the Southern Africa Regional Finalists.

Again in 2024, the enterprise successfully completed an intensive entrepreneurship training conducted by NTEEP and was admitted into the NTEEP Alumni Community.

In 2023, the enterprise was selected for a Savvy Global Fellowship Program on training and mentoring for Aspiring and Early- Stage Entrepreneurs.

Again in 2023, the enterprise was selected to participate in the Because International Accelerator cohort program on Early- Stage Potential Entrepreneurs.

In 2021, the enterprise was selected for a business coaching and mentorship support training program from the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) under the framework of UNIDO.
